About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and committed Hospitality Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Birmingham area. This is a long-term opportunity to inspire students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop both practical skills and theoretical understanding of the hospitality and catering industry.
The successful candidate will have experience teaching Hospitality and Catering within the WJEC framework. This includes preparing students for assessments and examinations, ensuring they gain the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this subject area.
Key Responsibilities
•Deliver high-quality Hospitality and Catering lessons at KS3 and KS4
•Prepare students for WJEC assessments and examinations
•Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
•Support students in developing both practical cooking skills and theoretical knowledge of the industry
•Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development
Candidate Requirements
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
•Experience teaching Hospitality and Catering, with knowledge of WJEC specifications
•Strong classroom management and communication skills
•A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential
