Your new company
You will be working at HMP Manchester for a facilities management and maintenance company. This company ensures that all maintenance projects throughout the prison are completed to a high standard. HMP Manchester is a category A prison based in Manchester.

Your new role
As part of the works department, you'll be working with a team of cleaners to ensure the prison is cleaned to a high standard. The areas you will clean will be staff toilets, office areas, visiting areas. You will be hoovering, wiping surfaces, mopping floors etc. The hours of work can be flexible with roughly a 6am start - 3pm finish. 39 hours per week.

What you'll need to succeed
The nature of the role requires candidates to be security conscious and able to challenge potential compromises and risks, you will also need to be reliable and consistent, level headed and have exceptional interpersonal skills. Successful applicants will have a background in cleaning, and will be assessed based on the following competencies: Acting with integrity, respecting others, building relationships and team working, communicating effectively, developing self and others.

What you'll get in return
£12.00 per hour paid weekly every Friday, temp to perm role.
