Your new role

As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will be responsible for leading small-group interventions, covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher, and providing targeted support to individual pupils. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and skilled practitioner looking to make a real impact within a supportive school community.

• Delivering planned lessons across various year groups when required
• Leading small-group work and 1:1 interventions to raise attainment
• Assisting teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom support
• Supporting pupils with additional needs and promoting positive behaviour
• Contributing to assessments and pupil progress tracking
• Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create an engaging learning environment

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience supporting teaching and learning in a school setting
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons confidently
• A positive, proactive approach and excellent communication skills
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
