Your new school
This school situated in Bristol is looking for an experienced Higher level teaching assistant with SEND experience to join their team come September, working full-time in and out of the classroom with a multitude of students. This school promotes helping children of all ages throughout their time at primary school and making the school a fun environment to learn in. This BS34 school is on public transport routes and has an available car park also.
Your new role
This role will involve attending, planning and contributing towards lessons in the classroom. There will also include a great deal of helping students progress with their everyday schoolwork in different working settings, including small groups, and the whole class at certain times. As certain children have additional needs, the teachers need additional support regarding the running of the class. This role includes the evaluation of children’s needs and assessment of how these needs can be met.
Requirements to succeed in your new role
- Higher level teaching assistant qualification
- Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position
- Previous experience with children with additional needs is desirable
