History Teacher – Long-Term Role | September 2025

Start Location: Leicester
Contract: Long-term supply
Start Date: September 2025

Hays are in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Leicester. They are seeking a passionate History Teacher to join their team from September. This long-term job offers the chance to make a real impact in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging History lessons to KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet student needs
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities
What You’ll Need:
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • Experience teaching History in UK secondary schools
  • A genuine passion for education and student success
