Site Supervisor - Nights - Highways - Coventry - Civils

The organisation has a strong reputation for safety, innovation and delivering critical national infrastructure programmes.


Your new role

In your new role as a Site Supervisor, you will play a key part in delivering security and digital infrastructure projects, supporting site operations and ensuring high standards of safety, quality and performance.


You will:

  • Oversee day-to-day site activities to ensure work is delivered safely, on time and to specification

  • Support the Project Manager and Site Manager in coordinating subcontractors and site teams

  • Maintain accurate site records including diaries, permits and quality documentation

  • Lead inductions, toolbox talks and site safety briefings

  • Ensure RAMS, COSHH assessments and permits are in place and adhered to

  • Assist with planning, programming and overall project delivery

  • Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with technical drawings and specifications

  • Contribute to site meetings and wider project communication

  • Support site setup and pre-construction activities

  • Promote a positive, safe and inclusive working environment


What you'll need to succeed

  • Have experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role within construction or civil engineering

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety on site

  • Be confident managing subcontractors and site teams

  • Be able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Hold SMSTS or SSSTS (or equivalent)

  • Hold a valid CSCS card
