Higher Level Teaching Assistant | January start
Are you a qualified HLTA with a passion for supporting children across the primary age range? Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Gloucester area to recruit a dedicated HLTA for a full-time role. The school prides itself on nurturing every child’s potential and fostering a love of learning. Staff are supportive, and leadership is committed to professional development and wellbeing.
This is a full-time position supporting pupils from EYFS through to Key Stage 2. You will play a key role in delivering targeted interventions, supporting learning across the curriculum, and providing PPA cover for class teachers. The school is seeking someone with a strong understanding of the EYFS and Primary National Curriculum, who can confidently lead learning and contribute to pupil progress.
What you'll need to succeed
- HLTA qualification (Level 4 or equivalent)
- Proven experience supporting across EYFS to KS2
- Strong curriculum knowledge and ability to lead interventions
- Confidence in delivering lessons and managing classroom environments
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning
- Planning, delivering, and assessing agreed learning activities for individuals, groups, and whole classes whilst co
