A well‑established SEND school in Rugby is looking for an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team in a Post 16 setting. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and is ready to take on greater responsibility within the classroom.

• Leading small‑group sessions and delivering planned learning activities
• Providing targeted 1:1 support where required
• Assisting with personal care when needed

• Covering lessons in the teacher’s absence (where appropriate)
• Helping pupils develop independence, confidence, and life skills
• Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff

• HLTA qualification or strong experience as a senior TA
• Experience working with SEND pupils
• Confident leading groups and delivering planned activities
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach
• Willingness to support with personal care
• Strong communication and organisational skills
