A well established food production business in the Armagh area is seeking a High Care Supervisor to join its operations team. Operating within a high‑care manufacturing environment, the organisation is committed to delivering the highest standards of food safety, quality and compliance. This is a key opportunity for an experienced supervisor to join a fast paced production site where operational excellence and continuous improvement are at the forefront.

Your new role

As High Care Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations within the high care area, ensuring all activities meet strict food safety and quality standards. You will lead and manage a team of up to 15 staff, driving performance, maintaining discipline and supporting team development. A key part of the role will involve maintaining audit readiness, supporting internal and external audits such as BRC and HACCP, and ensuring all compliance documentation is accurate and up to date. You will identify non‑conformances, implement corrective actions and work closely with other departments to ensure consistency across operations. This is a hands‑on leadership position requiring strong communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement within a high pressure manufacturing environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience within food manufacturing or food production environments
  • Proven supervisory or team management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and compliance standards
  • Experience supporting or participating in food industry audits (BRC, HACCP etc.)
  • Confident communicator and decision maker with strong organisational and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure within a fast paced, high‑care environment
