HGV Mechanic

Your new role

As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a range of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they remain roadworthy and operational. Your duties will include:
  • Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
  • Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team to maintain high service standards

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance)
  • Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable)
