Your New Role

As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will help promote a positive health and safety culture across the organization. Based in the South East with optional travel to a central office, you’ll provide expert advice and guidance to managers and staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and best practice. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering inductions and training on DSE, manual handling, risk assessments, and laboratory safety.
  • Supporting health and safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Advising on risk assessments, policies, and project planning to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Managing a portfolio of health and safety projects and providing support for H&S software systems.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • NEBOSH Certificate Level 3 (Level 6 diploma preferred)
  • Experience in audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical H&S information effectively to staff on-site.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Oracle, and Health and Safety software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and make effective decisions to anticipate and mitigate risks.
