Are you an experienced and passionate Health and Social Care Teacher looking for your next teaching job?
Hays Education is recruiting for a Key Stage 3 and 4 Health & Social Care Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Salford. This full-time role begins in September 2025 and will run for at least one full term, with the possibility of extension.
The Job:
Health and Social Care Teacher
Start Date: September 2025
Duration: One term minimum (potential for extension)
Full-time, temporary position
Planning and marking required
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Health and Social Care lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Plan, prepare, assess and mark student work in line with national standards
Support student progress and wellbeing through high-quality teaching and feedback
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience across the department
What you'll need to succeed in this job
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Proven experience teaching Health and Social Care at secondary level
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Commitment to inclusive education and student development
