Your new company

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a large public sector organisation responsible for delivering one of the UK’s most significant upcoming international events. This is a 10 month fixed term contract and be part of an event which is set to leave a lasting legacy for Glasgow.

Your new role

As Health and Safety Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and wellbeing across all venues, infrastructure, and operations. You’ll support the planning and implementation of safety programs, conduct inspections and risk assessments, and help embed a culture of compliance and care throughout the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll be a proactive and organised professional with experience in fast-paced environments. You’ll have a strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and risk management principles, and ideally hold qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH. A collaborative mindset and passion for excellence will be key to your success in this role.
