Hays are working with a client in Knaresborough who is going through growth a highly motivated and experienced Head of Sales Support to lead and develop a high‑performing sales support function within a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment. This role is critical in ensuring our lender clients receive an exceptional service while supporting the commercial success of the sales operation.

• Lead, manage, and develop the Sales Support team, setting clear objectives and performance targets.
• Drive a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
• Act as a senior point of contact for lender clients, ensuring strong relationships and high service standards
• Monitor individual and team performance against KPIs, SLAs, and commercial targets
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, and senior stakeholders to align support activity with business goals.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards
• Provide regular reporting and insights on performance, risks, and opportunities
