Your new company

An ambitious, private equity-backed consultancy group is seeking a hands-on Head of Reporting to support its strategic growth and exit plans. Operating across Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations, the business is scaling rapidly through a buy-and-build strategy with a planned exit in 2026. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic finance team at a pivotal moment in the company’s journey.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, you’ll lead group reporting and consolidation across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and investor-readiness. You’ll play a key role in exit preparation, supporting vendor due diligence, data pack creation, and working closely with external advisors. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, process improvement skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading monthly group reporting and consolidation

  • Enhancing data hygiene and standardising reporting across subsidiaries

  • Supporting exit readiness, including VDD and transaction support

  • Partnering with finance teams to improve controls and reporting quality

  • Producing insightful board and management packs

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to the Group FD and wider leadership

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in group reporting, consolidations, and financial controls
  • Exposure to transactions (exit readiness)
  • Background in professional services or PE-backed environments preferred
  • Detail-oriented, delivery-focused, and resilient under pressure
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

What you'll get in return

  • Competitive salary package
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership, PE investors, and advisors
  • Opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile private equity exit
  • Fast-paced, collaborative environment with real impact
