Your new role
As Head of Procurement, you will take full ownership of the organisation’s procurement strategy, policies, and processes. You will lead and mentor the procurement team, ensuring high performance and alignment with business priorities. Your role will involve:
- Spearheading transformational change
- Developing and implementing short‑ and long‑term procurement strategies
- Leading the sourcing, negotiation, and contracting of suppliers
- Managing supplier relationships to ensure best value, quality, and reliability
- Collaborating closely across the group to unlock joint procurement opportunities and share best practice
- Overseeing procurement budgets and monitoring KPIs
- Driving continuous improvement, cost‑saving initiatives, and operational efficiencies
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and enabling strategic outcomes

What you’ll need to succeed
- A proven track record in procurement leadership with experience of managing Indirect categories of spend
- Strong people management skills and the ability to inspire high performance
- A strategic mindset with the ability to create and deliver procurement strategies
- A solutions‑focused approach with a passion for driving continuous improvement
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand and respond to business needs
