Head of Operations

A regulated financial services organisation is seeking a senior Head of Operations to lead and modernise its operations function at executive level.

The Role

This role has accountability for operational performance, resilience, and transformation across operations, technology, payments, outsourcing, and business continuity. You will drive efficiency, strengthen governance, and deliver change in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operational strategy, service delivery, and operational resilience
• Drive business and technology transformation and systems integration
• Oversee IT, operations, payments, outsourcing, and third ‑ party management
• Translate executive strategy into operational plans and measurable outcomes
• Manage operational risk, regulatory compliance, and governance
• Lead budgeting, resource planning, and performance management
• Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Develop high ‑ performing leadership teams and succession plans

Experience Required

• Senior operations leadership experience within regulated financial services
• Strong knowledge of FCA/PRA environments and operational resilience
• Proven change, transformation, and stakeholder
