Head of HR Ops & Payroll - M&A - Harmonisation

Innovative engineering and technology services firm with a diverse customer base in the global automotive, aviation, rail, and energy sectors.

Focusing on the UK business and reporting to the Head of HR, you will lead the HR and Payroll operations across three UK entities, ensuring the delivery of a first-class, Group aligned HR service to a population of c1000 employees during a period of change. You will also be pivotal in driving harmonistaion between these three BU’s, across payrolls, benefits, pensions, HR operations, and work in a project-focused, change-based environment. In this role, you will provide advisory services and cover complex, highly sensitive ER cases whilst ensuring compliance with UK EL. Furthermore, you will also lead a team of four and create a high-performing culture.

You will be an experienced HR and Payroll professional who is used to delivering in a complex, change-based environment and experience with M&A will be well received. You will be well versed in providing Payroll and HR, including ER and TUPE, services, and ideally will have experience of working in a SSC environment. You will be skilled at leading experienced, small teams and in developing capability, and more so be motivated to step-up into a Head of HR role given the succession planning element of this role.

Offering £85,000 – £100,000, c£9,000 bonus potential, co. benefits and 2 days working from home – the HR team tends to work in the office on a Monday and Thursday.
