Your Company
Fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that are embarking on a bold transformation. With a newly appointed CFO and a forward-thinking CEO, the leadership team is committed to reinventing the organisation and building a new way of working. This is a unique opportunity to join at a pivotal moment, where your expertise will directly shape the next phase of growth and change.
Your New Role
As Head of HR, you will report directly to the CEO and play a central role in redefining the HR function and the future of the company. You’ll impact and reshape the business as it undergoes growth, change, and innovation — embedding the HR strategy, delivering key projects/initiatives and new ways of working.
You’ll lead a small team and oversee all aspects including recruitment, training, employee engagement, change and transformation, policy development, ER casework, and reporting.
Key priorities will include:
- Designing and implementing a performance plan and HR strategy aligned with the company’s digital transformation.
- Leading the replacement of HRIS and payroll platforms, ensuring systems and tools are fit for the future.
- Building strong relationships across the business to drive engagement and cultural change.
- Transformation & Change Management - lead and deliver HR related transformation projects, including restructures, office moves, workforce planning, and culture-shaping initiatives.
- Partner with leadership on talent acquisition, retention, and development to build a resilient and future-ready workforce.
- Reinventing HR processes to be proactive, pragmatic, and action-oriented, moving managers forward with practical solutions
What You Will Need
- Proven HR leadership experience in SME, start-up, or tech-first businesses (digital / fast-paced industries highly desirable).
- Experience working in environments of growth and complexity, with the ability to balance operational delivery and strategic input.
- Demonstrated track record in HR transformation, organisational change, or turnaround environments, including restructures and office relocations.
- Confidence in leading systems and policy work, with a track record of updating tools, platforms, and service providers.
- Experience in process improvement and automation, leveraging technology to drive efficiency and scale.
- A forward-thinking mindset: not process-heavy, but pragmatic, proactive, and able to drive action.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Comfort working in a regulated sector and openness to the challenges of a unique industry.
Benefits

- Company & personal performance bonus
- 25 days holiday + BH
- Hybrid & Flexible Working
- Pension – Employee 6% & Employer 8% contribution
- Life Insurance – 3 x Annual salary
- Health Insurance (BUPA) – Self and Family.
- Opportunity to work directly with a highly engaged CEO and newly appointed CFO as part of a refreshed senior leadership team.
- The chance to reinvent the HR function in a business undergoing a major transformation, with significant scope to make an impact.
