Are you a strategic health and safety leader ready to shape the future of safety culture in a large, complex organisation?
We’re recruiting for a Head of Health and Safety Services to lead and evolve health and safety strategy, systems, and culture across a high-profile institution. This is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to influence senior leadership, drive compliance, and embed best practice across diverse operational environments.
Your new role
- Lead the development and implementation of health and safety strategy and systems.
- Advise senior stakeholders and executive committees on compliance and risk.
- Promote a positive safety culture across academic, professional, and visitor activities.
- Oversee audits, training programmes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage a high-performing team and contribute to strategic planning.
What you'll need to succeed
- Chartered IOSH membership or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in strategic health and safety leadership within large organisations.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to develop innovative solutions and drive cultural change.
- A collaborative approach to cross-functional leadership.
