Newly created role for Qualified Accountant with commercial experience to add value in Not-for-Profit
We are supporting a rapidly growing organisation in the Not-for-Profit sector in recruiting to the newly created role of Head of Financial Operations. They have ambitious plans to grow and currently have a combined annual turnover in excess of £100M p/a.
Reporting into the Deputy CEO, you will lead a small team of 2 direct reports and 4 indirect in driving improvements in controls, systems and processes. You will have an innovative approach to presenting financial information and be able to demonstrate the ability to use KPIs, dashboards and various metrics in your financial analysis. You will be able to improve the quality of financial reporting to the Board and various committees and be able to demonstrate the ability to use your commercial acumen to engage and influence your budget holders.
The ideal candidate will be CCAB qualified with proven experience in the commercial sector, or seeking to make your first move into industry from Practice. You will have excellent systems and Excel skills and the ability to communicate with the senior leadership team.
The client is offering a competitive package with an attractive salary and benefits package including LGPS and enhanced annual leave. They fully support hybrid working with 1-2 days per week in the office and occasional travel to their various sites around East Anglia.
