Head Of Finance - SME- £70,000- Hybrid in Berkshire

Head of Finance
Location: Berkshire (Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite)
Salary: £70,000 per annum
Reporting to: CEO

Are you an experienced finance leader ready to take full ownership of the finance function?

The Role
As Head of Finance, you will:
  • Lead the finance department and act as a key advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team.
  • Manage and develop a team of 3 direct reports.
  • Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and deliver accurate, timely financial insights.
  • Drive process improvements and support strategic decision-making to enable business growth.
About You
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
  • Commercially astute with the confidence to challenge and influence at board level.
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
