Your new role

You’ll oversee a multi‑site finance function while embedding strong processes and a collaborative team ethic. You’ll own monthly management accounts and annual budgets for operations meetings, lead external audits across the business, and ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations. You’ll also drive systems and process improvements, leveraging technology to automate, enhance efficiency and sharpen insight. Furthermore, you will have oversight of the HR function and maintain a hands-on approach to ensure that the finance function runs smoothly as the business embarks on its next phase of growth.

What you'll need to succeed

Fully qualified accountant, with significant post‑qualification and an affinity towards the workings of an SME environment (family-owned or owner-managed ideally). You’ll have a track record of leading sizeable teams (10+), influencing the SLT, and delivering robust controls, clear reporting and pragmatic solutions under pressure. A pragmatic approach to change management is highly desirable as the business continues to evolve their systems and processes over time. The role will be fully office-based, given the need to manage internal relationships and the wider finance team. Therefore, proximity to the Farnborough area will also be important.
