Head of Facilities required to support leading legal firm
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior facilities candidate based near Haymarket station.
My client are a leading legal firm occupying the penthouse of a new build offices based at Haymarket train station. This organisation is seeking to appoint a suitable qualified head of facilities to look after their offices, mail rooms and reception spaces.
You will be based in Edinburgh however you will be required to offer guidance and support to other offices across the UK.
This role will have you overseeing the daily operation of the building, its site spaces including reception and back of house areas whilst also being responsible for public areas. This is not a customer facing role however you will be the face of the company, potentially interacting with contractors and clients of the firm.
Within the role, you will be responsible for the upkeep of all compliance, health and safety and maintenance of the company. Therefore high levels of attention to detail are required.
No formal qualifications are required for this role however it NEBOSH, IOSH or similar would be preferred. Candidates will ideally come from a maintenance or facilities background within services buildings, hotels, offices or similar. A high level of IT skills are required, candidates without this will not be considered. This is an office based role within a professional environment therefore candidates will be expected to be well presented.
