Your new role

Lead and manage the English department, driving excellence in teaching and learning.
Develop and implement a high-quality curriculum that engages and challenges all learners.
Support and mentor a talented team of English teachers, fostering a collaborative and ambitious culture.
Use data and evidence-based strategies to raise attainment and close achievement gaps.
Champion literacy across the school and contribute to whole-school improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status QTS with a strong track record of success in English education.
Proven leadership experience or readiness to step into a middle leadership role.
A deep understanding of curriculum design, assessment, and pedagogy.
A commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all students.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
