Six Month Contract - Head of External Comms
We are seeking an exceptional communications leader to build the public profile of our client, protect the reputation, and amplify the impact across news media and digital channels. Reporting to the Chief of Communication & External Affairs, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company growth mission.

Responsibilities:
Define and deliver media and digital strategies that articulate the brand to external audiences.
Build relationships with key journalists, influencers, and communications teams.
Lead on media handling of sensitive issues, safeguarding reputation through proactive risk management
Own the digital content strategy across websites and social media, applying an audience-centred approach
Commission compelling content including press statements, case studies, videos, and opinion pieces
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of communications professionals
Experience:
Significant senior experience in media relations with a proven track record
Deep knowledge of the UK media landscape across print, broadcast, and digital channels
Outstanding writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and content for diverse audiences
Proven ability as a senior spokesperson for a high-profile organisation
Experience leading, developing, and motivating high-performing teams
