Maintenance Operative / Maintenance person
Your new company
Working for a well-established company on a 3-month contract.
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Hours: Flexible, between 7:30am and 6:30pm
Contract Type: Full-time
Location: Based in Hyndburn, with travel to various council-owned properties
Your new role
To provide a reliable and efficient general maintenance service across council-owned properties, carrying out minor repairs, basic plumbing, decorating, and general upkeep to ensure properties remain safe, functional, and well-presented.
- Flushing and maintaining toilets
- Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance person tasks
- Basic plumbing tasks such as replacing tap washers
- Painting and minor decorating works
- General maintenance and upkeep of properties
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a general maintenance person or maintenance role
- Ability to carry out basic plumbing, painting, and minor repair tasks
- Own car and valid business-use insurance (essential)
What you'll get in return
Mileage reimbursed at 45p per mile, calculated from office to site
