Handyperson required to work in the Public Sector in Netownabbey.

Your new role

Responsible for carrying out a wide range of external and internal repair and maintenance works across housing stock

  • Carry out small roof repairs, including patching and minor remedial works.
  • Install and repair fencing
  • Complete concrete repairs, including patching and resurfacing
  • Undertake small brickwork repairs
  • Carry out flagging and paving repairs
  • Complete minor plastering repairs
  • Perform painting and decorating tasks
  • Conduct property clear-outs and cleaning, ensuring properties are left in good condition
  • Identify maintenance issues and carry out effective repairs
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a Handyperson, maintenance, or multi-trade role (1 and 5 years preferred)
  • Demonstrable skills across a range of trades, e.g:
  • Basic plumbing (leaks, fitting taps, etc.)
  • Electrical (minor works only – changing sockets, light fittings)
  • Carpentry (doors, skirting, small repairs)
  • Painting & decorating
  • General property maintenance
  • Access NI Required
  • Tools Required.
