Your new company

Here at Hays we are currently recruiting reliable and flexible primary teachers to work in various primary schools across South Gloucestershire. These roles are for supply cover and can be on a full or part-time basis depending on your schedule and how often you would like to work. Giving you the opportunity to work in different schools in the local area and gain experience across different year groups, within different areas and with a multitude of different children. Additionally, Hays provides opportunities to build relationships with our partner schools, many of which may lead to long-term or permanent placements.

Your new role

This role can be either full-time or part-time, allowing you to fit it around your schedule. It is perfect for those with a passion for teaching across multiple primary schools. With the support of your dedicated specialist consultant, you can let us know your availability, and we will arrange work for you on those days. Due to the high volume of work at Hays, we guarantee you will have to work for the days you are available, or we will pay you for that day. Schools are looking for candidates with strong and adaptable classroom skills, as you will be covering classes for the day. While the role can be part-time based on your availability, the successful candidate will have routine day-to-day classroom responsibilities and collaborate with other teachers in the year group to form a cohesive team. Although there are no PPA responsibilities, you will be required to mark any work set for the day. If you enjoy the challenge of working in different primary schools at times that suit your schedule, this is the role for you.
