Group Talent Acquisition Specialist / Advisor

Location: Oxford or Reading (with ad-hoc travel across UK offices)
Working Pattern: Hybrid & Flexible (3 days office / 2 days home after probation).
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Your new role
We are seeking a Group Talent Acquisition Specialist / Advisor to join a growing People & Culture team. This newly created role reflects the organisation’s exciting growth plans and offers the opportunity to shape recruitment strategies across multiple service lines, including Audit, Accounts, Tax, Outsourcing, and Corporate Functions.
Reporting to the Group Talent Acquisition Manager, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for mid-level vacancies, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and ensuring a consistent, inclusive, and efficient hiring experience across the group.
Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Recruitment Delivery: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for part-qualified, newly qualified, and mid-level roles. Partner with hiring managers to define requirements, create job specs, and advise on hiring strategies.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter, specialist job boards, referrals, networking, and agency partnerships to attract top talent.
  • Stakeholder Support: Provide market insights, salary benchmarking, and best practice guidance to partners and directors.
  • Recruitment Operations: Maintain accurate data in the ATS (HiBob), identify process improvements, and ensure compliance with GDPR and employment law.
  • DEI & Governance: Promote inclusive hiring practices and support diversity initiatives.
  • Onboarding: Collaborate with HR and other teams to ensure smooth onboarding, including offer paperwork and pre-employment checks.
What you'll need to succeed
  • 2+ years’ experience in professional services talent acquisition (in-house or agency with accounting sector experience).
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of vacancies across multiple locations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms (ideally HiBob) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Knowledge of how AI tools can enhance recruitment efficiency is desirable.
  • A relevant qualification (CIPD Level 3/5 or CertIHR) is beneficial but not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence for ad-hoc travel.
