Group Management Accountant – International Manufacturing (UK-Based)

Your new company

A fast-growing, international manufacturer with operations in the UK, USA, and Europe is seeking a talented Group Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The company is known for its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and customer-led solutions, and is currently expanding its manufacturing footprint into new global markets.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that values agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Your new role

This is a high-impact role supporting the group’s financial operations across multiple regions. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic analysis. Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and present group management accounts across the UK, USA, and Europe.

  • Deliver monthly reports on sales, margins, operating expenses, EBITDA, and net income.

  • Lead monthly stock valuations, coordinate stock counts, and reconcile results.

  • Investigate and resolve stock variances under tight deadlines.

  • Complete VAT and sales tax returns for the UK and USA.

  • Develop and monitor 13-week cash flow forecasts, presenting insights to management.

  • Roll out and report on packaging compliance.

  • Maintain and improve costing models, working with operations to drive efficiency.

  • Act as finance lead on international expansion projects.

  • Provide support to the Finance Director, including stepping up during an absence.

  • Collaborate on the implementation of a bespoke cloud ERP system, including modules for finance, sales, purchase orders, and expenses.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or a finalist, with a strong background in management accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or international business environment. They should be confident producing and presenting financial reports, analysing performance metrics, and managing complex forecasting models. A keen interest in financial systems and process improvement is essential, as the role involves working closely with developers and operations teams to enhance ERP functionality and costing models. Experience with Power BI is highly desirable, as the organisation values data-driven decision-making and visual reporting. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently across multiple time zones and cultures, contributing to strategic projects and supporting senior leadership.

What you'll get in return

This role offers a competitive salary. Employees benefit from a contributory pension plan and free on-site parking. The organisation fosters a collaborative and inclusive working environment, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Team members are encouraged to take ownership of their work and contribute to strategic initiatives, with clear opportunities for career progression and leadership development. The culture is values-driven, supportive, and agile—ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic, forward-thinking settings.
