Your new company

Nationally recognised social care provider dedicated to empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives and achieve their potential, with a strong track record of delivering innovative health and social care solutions.

Your new role

As Group Financial Controller, you will drive continuous improvement in finance controls, leveraging digital tools and automation for efficiency. Alongside this, you will lead month-end close, statutory accounts, and ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and audit standards. You will also build trusted relationships with auditors, advisers, banks, and regulators while partnering internally to support sound financial decisions. In addition, you’ll inspire and develop your team, fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and innovation.

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a proven track record of leading finance teams and driving transformation. Your blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen. You will need to bring deep knowledge of technical accounting, financial controls and reporting, alongside experience delivering change and implementing automation or new systems. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential. Experience in the health or social care sector would be considered highly desirable.

What you'll get in return

You'll receive a competitive salary of up to £80k, alongside a competitive benefits package and a very flexible hybrid working model. Whilst joining a well renowned social care provider, the organisation offers brilliant career progression opportunities, within a vibrant office culture in central Manchester, nearby to public transport, restaurants, shops and local amenities.
