Groundworker

Groundworker – Finishing Works (Housing Site)
Location: Leyland
Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Duration: 3–4 weeks
Requirements: CSCS essential, Dumper ticket desirable, own hand tools desirable.

Your new company
You’ll be joining a well‑established contractor delivering high‑quality finishing works on a busy housing development. The team is known for maintaining strong site standards, clear communication, and a supportive working environment.

Your new role
You will be carrying out a range of finishing groundworks tasks including:
  • Paving
  • Kerbing
  • Stoning up
  • Flagging
  • General finishing duties as required
You’ll be working alongside site management to ensure plots are completed to a high standard and ready for handover.

What you’ll need to succeed
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Strong experience in finishing works on housing sites
  • Dumper ticket – desirable but not essential
  • Own hand tools – desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
