Grounds Worker/Skilled Labourer

Skilled Labourer / Groundsworker – Paving Works
Location: Huddersfield
Duration: 4‑week temporary
contract Rate: £17.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Pay: Weekly

The Role

We are currently seeking a reliable Skilled Labourer / Grounds worker to work for a reputable contractor on a paving project in Huddersfield. This is a 4‑week temporary role with immediate start available.

Duties Will Include

  • Assisting with paving works (slabs, kerbs, block paving)
  • General groundworks and site preparation
  • Use of basic hand and power tools
  • Working alongside skilled trades on site
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in groundwork or paving
  • Valid CSCS card (Desirable)
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
  • Good understanding of health & safety on site
  • PPE (boots, hi‑vis, helmet)
