Grounds Maintenance Operative – Lawn Mowing & Strimming

Location: Milton Keynes Hours: 40 hours per week

Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in a job well done? We’re a small, friendly, family‑run business in Milton Keynes looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team for the season.

This role focusses mainly on lawn mowing, with some occasional strimming, working across a range of commercial properties in and around Milton Keynes.

If you're reliable, motivated, and comfortable with physical outdoor work, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lawn mowing across commercial sites in Milton Keynes
Occasional strimming and general grounds upkeep
Using push mowers, ride‑on mowers, and handheld equipment
Travelling between sites in company vehicles
Maintaining equipment and following site safety procedures
Representing the business professionally when onsite

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

Full UK driving licence
Clean DBS check (or ability to pass one)
Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in all weather
A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable (not essential):

Experience in mowing, strimming, or grounds maintenance
Background in landscaping or outdoor labour

What We Offer
