Are you a recent graduate looking to begin a rewarding career in education?
Hays Education is working with a group of secondary schools in the Hastings area who are seeking Graduate Teachers to join their teams this academic year. This is an excellent opportunity to gain paid, school-based experience while exploring a future in teaching. Should all go well during the placement, it also gives the opportunity to apply for an apprenticeship in the Spring!
As a Graduate Teacher, you will:
Support students in one-to-one and small group settings
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
Manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
Provide pastoral support to build student confidence and independence
What you'll need to succeed
We welcome graduates from any discipline who are passionate about education and eager to make a difference. Successful candidates will typically have:
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
A genuine interest in pursuing a career in teaching
Patience, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively
