For a Graduate Structural Engineer in Newcastle looking for exceptional career development

Are you a graduate structural engineer (fresh grad – 2 years’ experience) with the drive to accelerate your career? This is your chance to join one of the UK’s most respected, award‑winning independent construction consultancies—an organisation known for engineering excellence, creativity, and delivering standout solutions across every major sector.

You’ll be stepping into a team that works on everything from modern commercial developments to historic buildings, residential schemes, retail spaces, and complex refurbishments—giving you exposure that most engineers don’t see until much later in their career.

What you'll be doing
A genuinely varied technical role designed to build you into a well‑rounded engineer:

  • Structural design on live, real‑world projects across multiple sectors
  • Structural surveys and on‑site investigations alongside experienced engineers
  • Building appraisals spanning new builds, historic structures, and refurbishments
  • Hands‑on involvement across the project lifecycle, learning from specialists with decades of experience in structural and civil engineering, building surveying, and defect investigation.

This is not a role where you’ll be stuck behind a desk - expect early responsibility, site exposure, technical variety, and meaningful input from day one.

What you'll get in return
  • A competitive salary, in line with your industry experience
  • A flexible and agile working pattern to benefit your lifestyle
  • A employee owned trust that pays bonus, and reinvests back into the company
  • A springboard for future success. You will be surrounded by Chartered and Conservation Accredited engineers
  • Continued support with proffesional memberships and learning opportunities
