Your new role
As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will work as part of an experienced design team supporting the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions from concept through to manufacture. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to full lifecycle design within a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting in the design and development of mechanical systems and components for processing/packaging machinery
  • Producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings in line with project and client specifications
  • Supporting senior engineers in design reviews, testing, and validation activities
  • Liaising with production and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and design optimisation
  • Supporting documentation, including BOMs, technical files, and design reports
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you should have:
  • A degree (or expected graduation) in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related discipline
  • Experience using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude
Desirable:
  • Placement or internship experience within an engineering/design environment
  • Interest or exposure to food processing, automation, or machinery design
