Global Travel & Expense Lead, Rail Solutions, £69,000 + Bonus, London, Hybrid-Working, Immediate Start!
Our client, a global provider of integrated rail solutions, are looking to recruit a Global Travel & Expense Lead to join their incredibly high-performing London office on a hybrid basis (2 days in the office / 3 days working from home). Responsible for the global design and delivery of large projects, this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate!
Our client have been established for a number of years and are one of the most recognisable names in their field. Boasting 1000's of employees worldwide across a range of different locations, they really do set the standard for rail solutions. Due to their constant need to grow/develop, they are currently looking to harmonise their travel and expense policies globally and, as a result, require the perfect candidate to lead on this project (and on future projects beyond!). In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading on the global harmonisation of travel and expense policies
- Developing, modifying, validating and executing the global travel policy
- Driving process improvements to increase program efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Establishing operational plans in accordance with business strategy
- Developing and implementing new processes/operations that will have a direct impact on the achievement of functional results
- Ensuring the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of travel data
- Implementing an audit and control framework to monitor the company's travel policy
- Working closely alongside the company's Procurement team to manage travel vendor relationships
- Implementing a global expense tool in collaboration with global and local stakeholders
In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:
- Experience of working within a global Travel & Expenses capacity
- Experience in writing, developing and implementing global Travel & Expense policies
- Experience of working within a global/corporate business
- Ability to analyse, utilise and interpret data to make informed decisions
- Confidence in working with stakeholders across the globe (different nationalities/cultures, etc)
- Confidence to present new ideas/deliverables to internal stakeholders
- Fantastic communication skills (written and verbal)
In addition to a very competitive basic salary, our client are also offering the following:
- 5% annual bonus (discretionary)
- Hybrid-working model (2 days in the office / 3 days working from home)
