Global Mobility Tax Assistant Manager role – Advisory Focus – Birmingham

A new opportunity has arisen to join a large, global accountancy firm with a strong global mobility team who focus on providing expert tax advice to their clients. Working with a range of businesses, you will manage tax compliance aspects and work on tax advisory projects, offering strategic guidance on international working and talent mobility.
Your new role
As an Assistant Manager within the firm's Global Mobility team, you’ll lead client engagements, provide expert tax advice, and manage compliance across international working arrangements. You’ll collaborate across service lines, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to broader advisory projects. You will be encouraged to grow your technical expertise and drive business development.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have gained UK personal tax experience and will have a strong grasp of international tax principles, including double tax treaties and residence rules. You will be ATT qualified (or equivalent) as a minimum and will have worked within a UK accountancy firm or will have worked in a global mobility role in-house. You must be able to demonstrate great client skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues in the UK and internationally.What you'll get in return
