Hays Education are currently supporting this school to appoint a teacher of geography from October half term until Christmas.


Your new role

As a Geography teacher, you’ll help students connect local environments to global issues, sparking curiosity about the world around them. This is a temporary role until Christmas 2026.
Your key duties will include:
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Promoting geographical literacy and critical thinking
  • Assessing student progress and adapting teaching approaches accordingly
  • Encouraging discussion on environmental, social, and economic themes


What you'll need to succeed

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Secondary school experience teaching Geography
  • Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management
  • A passion for helping students explore the world’s complexity


What you'll get in return
