Job Description
They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their friendly and forward-thinking department. You will deliver inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, fostering students’ understanding of physical landscapes, human environments, and fieldwork techniques.

Key responsibilities
•Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons that stretch and challenge all learners
•Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
•Create an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued
•Manage behaviour effectively to maintain a safe, respectful learning space
•Collaborate with departmental colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practice
•Lead and organise fieldwork trips and geography-related extracurricular activities

Requirements
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
•Degree in Geography or a closely related discipline
•Strong subject knowledge and a proven track record of effective teaching
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to inspire students of varied abilities and backgrounds
•Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children; enhanced DBS check required
