Job Title: General Practice Partner | Job Location: Edinburgh
Your new company
This is a well-established and highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants based in central Edinburgh. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality professional services, the firm supports a diverse client base ranging from individuals and SMEs to larger corporate entities. The team is known for its collaborative culture, commitment to client service, and forward-thinking approach. The firm is now seeking an experienced and driven General Practice Partner to join its leadership team and help shape its future.
Your new role
As a General Practice Partner, you will take a leading role in managing and developing a varied client portfolio, delivering expert advice across audit, accounts, and tax services. You will be instrumental in maintaining strong client relationships, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the strategic direction of the firm. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will be actively involved in business development and practice management, working closely with fellow partners to ensure continued growth and success.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (CA, ACA, or ACCA) with substantial post-qualification experience in general practice. A proven ability to manage a broad client portfolio and deliver high-quality service is essential. You will bring strong leadership and interpersonal skills, along with a collaborative mindset and a commercial approach to practice development. Experience in mentoring and developing staff, as well as contributing to strategic decision-making, will be highly valued.
What you'll get in return
You will join a supportive and forward-looking partnership that values professional integrity, client service, and work-life balance. The role offers a competitive remuneration package and the opportunity to influence the direction of the firm. For the right candidate, there is also the potential for equity partnership. This is a rare opportunity to take a senior leadership role within a respected and growing practice in Edinburgh.
