  • Providing legal oversight on all planning matters (as appropriate)
  • Providing legal oversight of offshore storage licences and advising the relevant consents and interface with other offshore infrastructure and stakeholders

  • Managing and co-ordinating responses to any potential litigation, arbitration etc, including engaging with external counsel where appropriate
  • Managing external legal relationships with law firms, ensuring cost-effective and efficient legal representation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced energy/infrastructure lawyer seeking a first General Counsel role or an existing Head of Legal/General Counsel seeking a new challenge. On offer is a wide-ranging and stimulating role within a cutting-edge and high-profile organisation. You will have a strong track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships both internally and externally and be able to evidence strong influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
