About the role

We’re seeking a senior policy leader to drive the end-to-end delivery of a new regulatory framework. You’ll set strategic direction, lead a small team, and ensure governance, process design, and user readiness are joined up and delivered at pace.

Key responsibilities

• Own programme delivery and align work to strategic objectives
• Lead comprehensive user testing and implement refinements for readiness
• Oversee the business support service, set performance measures, and drive improvement
• Provide senior policy stewardship and ensure robust external guidance
• Establish and chair governance routines; lead the team (1×SEO, 2×HEO)

What you'll bring

• Proven leadership of complex policy delivery in a regulatory/public sector context
• Expertise in process design, operational policy, and governance
• Track record of building/leading multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder engagement
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to deliver quickly, confidently, and transparently in a high-priority environment
