Are you a passionate French specialist looking for a rewarding role in a vibrant secondary school? We are recruiting for a dedicated French Teacher to join a welcoming Bradford school from after Easter through to the end of the summer term.
About the Role
The school is seeking someone who can deliver engaging and well-structured French lessons across KS3 and potentially KS4. You will join an experienced and supportive department committed to providing high-quality language education.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering French lessons in line with the school’s curriculum
- Creating an inclusive and positive learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Contributing to departmental planning where required
Requirements
- A specialist in French
- Either:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS), or
- Strong experience as a Secondary Cover Supervisor with French subject expertise
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to build rapport with students and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
