You’ll play a key role in driving cash performance, reducing aged debt and supporting commercial teams all while ensuring full compliance with internal processes and legislation.

£28,000 - 30,000 depending on experience

Your new role

You will manage a portfolio of French‑speaking customers, ensuring strong cash performance, smooth communication and effective issue resolution.
  • Cash Collection - Drive timely collection of overdue invoices and maintain accurate follow‑up notes.
  • Resolve blocked orders quickly to support uninterrupted customer supply.
  • Complete daily workflow actions with clear and accurate documentation.
  • Prepare clean, accurate records for weekly management reviews.
  • Identify accounts requiring escalation and prepare supporting evidence.
  • Work with Sales and Customer Service to resolve invoice queries and disputes.
  • Build strong relationships through professional, confident communication in French and English.
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure accurate allocation of payments.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Fluent/business‑level French and English communication skills.
  • Experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
  • Strong understanding of credit management principles, payment terms, and debt recovery.
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills, confident building a rapport with a wide variety of people.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and work to targets
Desirable
  • CICM qualification (or working toward it).
  • Training in customer service, finance, or business administration.
