Your new role

My client are seeking an experienced and driven Freelance Site Manager to oversee residential construction projects in Carlisle. You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a high-volume new build housing site, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all on-site activities, subcontractors, and labour teams.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and standards.
Maintain build programme schedules and budgets.
Liaise with NHBC, local authorities, and internal departments.
Conduct inspections and handovers in line with customer care procedures.
Promote a culture of safety, progress, and collaboration.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience managing residential construction sites, ideally with volume housebuilders.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
