Our client is a global defendant firm with offices nationwide. They are currently recruiting for a Solicitor, Associate or Senior Associate to join their highly-regarded fraud department in Manchester. The role has a high level of hybrid flexibility and a competitive salary. There is a retrain opportunity for solicitors with strong defendant personal injury experience and a strong interest in fraud work.

This fraud role will see you responsible for:
What you'll need to succeed
You should be a qualified solicitor. Applicants will ideally have previous experience handling their own caseload of litigated insurance fraud claims. Applicants should be from a defendant background with previous experience running their own caseload. You must have strong leadership and mentoring skills to help support junior members of the team. Applicants with strong defendant personal injury experience looking to retrain into a fraud role, may also be considered for a solicitor position.

Your new role

- Handing your own caseload of fraudulent claims including motor, EL/PL and organised fraud rings.
- Leading high-value, complex fraud claims.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with a range of large insurer clients.
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Partaking in business development opportunities to help grow the reputation of the department.
- Undertaking litigation, advocacy and trial preparation.
