An exciting opportunity has arisen for a FP&A Analyst to join a well-established Multi-Asset Brokerage in a permanent position based in the City of London. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the organisation’s international operations. This role is central to strengthening the company’s financial insight and management reporting capabilities, supporting strategic decision-making and driving process improvements.

Your new role

  • Preparing monthly and quarterly management reports, including P&L analysis
  • Analysing financial performance against forecasts, budgets, and KPIs
  • Supporting ExCom, Board, and Global Leadership reporting with insightful commentary
  • Assisting in the development of a new Management Financial Reporting Pack
  • Supporting financial planning and forecasting aligned with business objectives
  • Identifying key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities
  • Leveraging Microsoft D365 to enhance data accuracy and streamline reporting
  • Developing reporting templates, dashboards, and data extracts
  • Supporting strategic initiatives with financial modelling and scenario analysis
  • Collaborating across finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • 2–5 years’ experience in FP&A, management accounting, or financial analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with Microsoft D365 is advantageous
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and P&L analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, organised, and able to meet tight deadlines
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability
